What you'll be doing;
- The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance program.
- Carrying out work as per schedule supplied by the Services Manager.
- Troubleshooting problems with equipment as directed by Site Supervisors.
- Fixed Wire Testing on a 3 year rolling programme across 40+ properties.
- Completing site documentation before and after work tasks.
- Liaising with subcontractors during planned service maintenance.
- Participating in the appropriate training.
- Carrying out risk assessments of equipment maintenance task list and ensuring these are always kept valid.
- Carrying out periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
- Flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings and work around maintenance shutdown.
- Participating in audits of the Mechanical and Electrical plant rooms and follow up on actions required.
- Ensuring the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance hours.
What we're looking for;
- Electrical qualifications including C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
- Experience and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems (desirable)
- Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems (desirable)
- Work within a computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment (desirable)
- Work within a documented Permit to Work System (desirable)
- Ability to read and understand P&ID’s/electrical drawings (desirable)
- Understanding of basic instrumentation (desirable)
- Problem solver with a pro-active attitude (desirable)
