Are you the experienced Travel agent who wants to contribute to the success of our Group Air team?
Project Leader, Group Air - Meetings & Events (Remote)
32-40 hours per week. Location: Belgium.
In this unique role you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for the coordination of transport for larger groups of clients. You will research, negotiate and book transport tickets by air and train for groups larger than 10 people. You work in a small team of specialists, managing multiple projects simultaneously. The projects you work on are very diverse, keeping the work exciting and varied!
Create, develop and price transportation proposals for group travel
As a Project Leader, Group Air, you will
- Searching for possible itineraries and capacity, requesting and negotiating rates while meeting client goals and objectives
- Discuss travel options with clients
- Manage transportation bookings for groups, including split-off individuals, in Amadeus, on Internet booking tools or in third-party systems
- Manage the contract process and payment of deposits; enter required data into various software tools
- Advise clients on immigration rules and assist with visa processing
- Issue transport documents according to the specific rules of each project and ensure their correct administration
- Follow up the after sales process on refunds and claims.
About you
- Experience with planning trips by plane and train
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Experience with Amadeus
- Good at managing relationships with customers; establish, develop and maintain customer trust and loyalty
- Ability to identify customer needs by listening, asking questions and determining solutions
- Work well under pressure and adapt to changing scenarios
- Able to work flexible hours from time to time, including evenings and weekends as needed
- You are solution-oriented and love a challenge
