Bookkeeper [India]


 

We are looking to recruit a confident and experienced bookkeeper to join our growing Accountancy practice. The successful candidate must have strong organisational and communicative skills

  • Sales ledger – entering invoices and receipts
  • Purchase ledger – entering invoices, record payments and reconcile accounts

  • Analyse Bank accounts and reconcile
  • Booking journals in to G/L
  • Reconciling Balance Sheet balances
  • Experience using Microsoft office programs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively on phone in English.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and work within deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous strong bookeeping experience and bookeeping skills.

Responsibilities include:

Bookkeeping

  • Sales ledger – entering invoices and receipts
  • Purchase ledger – entering invoices, record payments and reconcile accounts
  • Analyse Bank accounts and reconcile
  • Processing petty cash receipts and managing petty cash balance

Although It will be mostly not always work from home working with us during normal office hours on Monday to Friday.

You must also need to have access to a personal computer with Internet which is required for you to work from home.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Yearly bonus

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
